But that's not my lifestyle anymore. No more launch party invites and no more Nelson Mandela birthday galas or high society weddings. I wouldn't trade my current life for that (well, maybe for a night, just to wear that dress).
Part of me thinks, 'ooh but I just saved £424 on travel for the whole year'. But let's be rational here. I'll only wear it once, and the true cost of it will be even more - there will have to be shoes, headress, clutch, hair accessories, over coat etc to be bought. Stay well clear away from putting the credit card down, Vish!
I may just compromise and try it on when I go to Harrods on Saturday.
Instead, the savings on the travel will go towards building the investment portfolio, and perhaps also into my pot for this dreamy number. Isn't she such a gorgeous colour (rouge garance)? I can see Lindy fitting into my current lifestyle a bit more (yes, I've instructed the sales associate to put me on speed dial in case they ever get a delivery in this exact size and colour.
